I admit that I'm stumped.
And my son drew pictures like this not too long ago. ;)
My two-year-old says it is a bee getting pollen out of a flower.
Hint: There are people involved.
The first person is sick and throwing up and two other people are attempting to comfort or help the sick one and lead them to bed OR there is a fire on the left and the others are firefighters trying to put out the flames?
Cindi: Getting closer - the two to the far right are trying to help the first person. No illness, no fire.
Clue: It's a Russian folktale.
No clue. I thought it was two people pushing a reindeer into a fire.
Y'all have made some very good guesses. It's actually from "The Enormous Turnip". The grandfather can't pull up the huge turnip, so he calls the grandmother, who pulls on the grandfather. They still can't pull it up, so they call the granddaughter, who pulls on the grandmother, who pulls on the grandfather, who pulls on the turnip (that is the scene in this picture). Eventually the dog, cat, and mouse are called in before the turnip comes up.
This picture just cracked me up...I don't know what's hanging from the grandfather's face. Maybe it's a beard, but I'm not sure. And with his arms coming from just above his leg level...while, when I first looked at it, I was kind of worried. But kids do not worry about perspective. The dangling thing on the face was in the way of the arms, so just move the arms lower. No problem!
The picture still makes me giggle.
Holy crap I'm LMAO! And I loved VW's answer.
LOL - I have to say my mind was running along the lines of VW's - except I thought it was 2 people throwing a bunny on the fire...
